The hotel has a marvelous location right on the beachfront in Cannes, in the Croisette district. the room was huge and had a comfortable decor. - the staff was very welcoming. - the restaurant served superb meals.

Amazing breakfast with toast and further àlacarte options, as for instance - well worth the money.

Enjoyed my reasonably spacious room with a balcony, good beds plus a bottle of chilling Champagne. I've stayed here before and would consider staying here again.

I booked the classic room with sea views, everything was great. I had an exceptionally comfortable bed. - the marvellous and stunning location was a few metres away from C Beach.

It was big size, good enough for party. Its location minutes away from C Beach was stunning.

Location location location! The Carlton is a beautiful hotel and clearly stands out along La Croisette. The service was excellent and the room was fantastically comfortable. We also really appreciated the gesture of the wine and welcome card and we started our honeymoon, it was a very nice touch.

One thing I do not understand (and this is not unique to the Carlton) is why internet access is not free, in this day and age it should be a standard feauture in all rooms - but that was a minor detail as I was on honeymoon and didn't really want to check my mail!

The classic room was modern with a sea view, mini bar fridge, climate control, and an individual safe. the location was great and stunning, with easy access to C Beach by walking. - the staff was kind and attentive, with some members going above and beyond.

We liked the central location for buzz and people watching!

No swimming pool and computer connection is an added cost.

Very disappointing service and rooms for a famous hotel. Rooms are run down and have old dirty carpets. Room furnishings are old and in poor condition. Drinks in lobby bar are poor quality with stale juices and the service is slow with the waiter carrying around a dirty J cloth to wipe tables. Definitely not five star surroundings or service. The gym only has a couple of treadmills and opens after 10am, not helpful for those who like to excercise early before breakfast.
